US and international customers can determine shipping charges by placing items in the shopping cart, specifying your location, and then clicking the 'calculate' button at right.
How Shipping is Calculated:
Shipping charges are calculated automatically by our shopping cart on a sliding scale based on weight. In general, the more you buy, the less you pay on a per-item basis.
We ship via UPS Ground and DHL (insurance included). Some orders under 5 lbs may ship via USPS. Guest books, when ordered alone, ship via Media Mail. Shipping method is at our discretion.
(We reserve the right to ship via commercial carrier on orders of $1000+.)

(Exceptions are at our discretion). We wait for checks to clear--this usually takes about
seven days. We move fast, but we cannot guarantee delivery times
unless you pay for a guaranteed shipping method.
Shipping Outside the US, Canada, and Europe:
Our secure shopping cart is designed for orders to
the United States, Canada and select European countries only. Other customers: Get in touch! We will work to accommodate you on orders of $100 or more in merchandise in the Americas and orders of $200+ overseas.
Shipping Outside the US (including Canada and Europe):
We are not responsible for any brokerage or customs clearing fees, duties or taxes that may apply to your shipment and will not issue refunds for these fees under any circumstances. We make no representation regarding such charges--consult your local jurisdiction or your shipping carrier.
Custom regulations prevent us from sending particular foods items to certain countries. Overseas customers: Before ordering, please get in touch to confirm that we will be able to ship foodstuffs to your location.
Customers are responsible for all costs involved in re-shipping goods when the submitted address is incorrect or incomplete. Always be sure to include the complete street address in the address field--including apartment number, business name, etc.
2nd day and 3rd day guaranteed shipping are available in the US (for
an additional charge) on orders of $75+ in merchandise and outside the US on orders of $150+ in merchandise. Contact us--include your address and the specific
items of interest--for rate information. Wait for our reply before you place an order.
Cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
If we're able to catch an order before it ships,
customers canceling all or part of an order will be charged a $5
restocking fee. Please be sure to double-check your order before
clicking on the "Submit Order" button.
ALWAYS contact us for a return authorization number before returning a product. Returns for a full refund are available on many items provided they arrive at our location in their original condition within 30 days. Returns not accepted on perishable items.
Neither original shipping charges nor costs incurred returning an item will be credited. If delivery on a shipment is refused, costs incurred by us to retrieve and restock the goods will be recouped out of the purchase payment. Cancellations can't be guaranteed.

If your goods arrive damaged, do not refuse delivery or immediately return the shipment. E-mail us, and include a thorough description of the damage. We will pursue an insurance claim with our shipping carrier, and send out replacement goods when appropriate. (Be sure to keep the shipment--including packing materials--intact, as our carrier may elect to inspect the package.)
All damage claims must be made within thirty days of the receipt of goods.
In warm weather months, orders containing candles may not ship till the Monday after an order is placed. (Orders placed before 2pm ET on Monday will typically ship the same day.) This is a precaution we take to avoid melting--far more likely to occur when orders sit over the weekend in shipping warehouses.
Exceptions to this policy are made at our discretion, and depend on a number of factors: Customer’s distance from our location in New York, weather conditions at customer’s address, and the day of the week an order is placed.
For example: An order including candles placed on a Tuesday morning by a customer in Pennsylvania is likely to be shipped the same day and should arrive by the end of business on Thursday.
But an order placed on a Wednesday in the middle of July from Los Angeles will likely be held till the following Monday. It should arrive by the end of business the following Friday (9 days after the order was placed).
If you are concerned about when you will receive your candle shipment, contact us and wait for our reply before placing your order, and we will reply with an estimated shipping date. Be sure to include your address and zip code. If possible, also let us know when you anticipate being ready to place your order and when you need to receive your goods.
